This "news" is as far from the truth you can possibly get. Moreover, it's deliberately misleading! There are no Human Rights in the Saudi system, only Sharia. And BBC knows it but deliberately uses people's ignorance and OIC's treacherous cover name 'islamic human rights', i.e. Sharia (i.e. the so called Cairo declaration on "human rights" in islam'). And BBC does it at the same time as the Saudi dictator family and OIC work for a global criminalization of criticism against Sharia (i.e. "islamophobia"). In other words, to defend Human Rights is already a crime in Saudi Arabia and soon near you!
Fawziah al Bakr is not a "human rights activist" but a Sharia supporter. Otherwise she should have been jailed long time ago.
And be assured that the women in the Saudi Shura Council are 100% Sharia compliant and that they would never defend Human Rights when they differ from Sharia. Not even the most basic ones such as, for example, equality between the sexes (sexism) and equality between muslims and others etc (racism).
And what about 6 year olds and 9 year olds etc?!
