Islam in California: "A flyer urging violent jihad under Nation of Islam is being circulated in South Central Los Angeles. Recently, a group of jihadis connect to a South Central Los Angeles mosque were indicted on conspiracy to commit terrorism. That mosque, though, was Saudi funded and was clearly Salafist in orientation, not the radically racist Nation of Islam."
JASMYNE CANNICK (African American): "You Don’t Speak For Me Tony Muhammad:
Muhammad is no angel. In fact, he’s far from it. He carries a widely known hatred for police officers and whites and is known for his trademark history of being antagonistic and argumentative.
Earlier this month, Muhammad called a protest against the shooting of a black series in his neighborhood because there were whites on the crew. In fifteen minutes, he managed to assemble over 150 people, who among other things spat on and called the white crewmembers names like "White Devil" and "Cracker.” Muhammad completely ignored the 30 or so Blacks that were working behind and in front of the camera when the show’s supervising producer cancelled the shoot for the day and sent everyone home."
Nicholas Stix: "You have a majority black city whose 480,000 residents were warned to evacuate, yet approximately 150,000 (31.6 percent) declined to. (I am allowing for 10,000-20,000 old and/or disabled people, like the 94-year-old man stuck in his apartment with a dozen eggs and a few gallons of water, who could not evacuate.) Most of the angry people shown waiting for transport appeared to me to be able-bodied. You have armed young black men roaming the city streets, looting, raping, murdering and carjacking. You have rescue workers in helicopters who are fired on by gun-toting “victims,” and who then flee to save themselves. You have national guardsmen in the streets ordered not to do their jobs. You have a black mayor, Ray Nagin, who failed to do his job and then cried racism"
